I didn’t have the most successful start in the real estate
business..but I’m glad I stuck with it. I realize REALTOR.com® has been a
major reason why our business has doubled every year over the past six
years with no end in sight. We have become one of the top real estate
teams in our area.
When I started out in real estate, I created a basic Web page. I
shopped for better Web sites until I found out about REALTOR.com® four
years ago. By continually improving and looking for more profitable tools
like Home Finder and Request A CMA, I knew REALTOR.com® was going to be a
big player. What I didn’t realize was that the best marketing tool I have
ever found, was a sister company of REALTOR.com®. One Place™ allows me to
utilize 24-hour recorded messages as well as provide the i-LEAD XL™ Web
site. Home Finder generates a minimum of three leads a day from emails off
my listings. The 24-hour hotline generates approximately 20 to 30 calls a
day from our recorded messages, which also sends a page with caller ID. My
team acts quickly to qualify the leads and work only with the ones that
are buying right now. All the others go into a follow up system, and they
usually turn into a qualified lead later.
But that’s not all -- REALTOR.com® has allowed me to be successful in a
different way. Success to me means maintaining a balance so I am able to
spend time with my family and not letting this business run me, but rather
me run it. Thanks to REALTOR.com®, I am marketing my listings --
profitably -- 24 hours-a-day and REALTOR.com® will sort and prioritize the
buyer leads for me. As a devoted dad of four, I like having the
flexibility to be able to run up to school and read a book to my
daughter’s kindergarten class. It’s a busy business, but because we manage
our time well and work our leads smart, we have a flexible schedule. My
main goal is to implement systems in my business which provide world-class
service to our clients and everyone they refer to us. I want to knock
